Scholarship & Mentorship Program
Students who enroll in the mentorship program will be assigned a mentor who will track their progress
from inception in the program until graduation.  Students, who meet the SSP requirements, will be

Middle/High School College-Track Initiative
A college-track pilot program will be developed at both a middle and high school.  The program will
create, develop and implement strategies, both in-and-out of the classroom environment, in order to
stimulate and bring awareness to the importance of high school and college graduation.  For more

Parent-Resource Workshops
Parents are instrumental in the education of their child's education.  SSP teams will stress the importance
of an education to the  parents/guardians of SSP students.  Workshops will be given at a variety of
school sites, as well as off-campus locations.  For more information about this program, please click

Student-Teacher Diversity & Sensitivity Training
Teaching and learning with students from other countries can be a very daunting task.  SSP will create
diversity workshops in order to strengthen and encourage cultural sensitivity in and out of the classroom.

Yearly Student Conference & Scholarship Luncheon
Students who participate in the program and/or receive a scholarship will be invited to attend the yearly
conference and scholarship luncheon.  The conference and luncheon are a culmination of a year of
