Meet Sarahi Chacon. She began w/ the Si Se Puede Program (SSPF) Folklorico program at 8years . She then tutored for SSPF after School Program & was part of the SSPF Scholars Program in HS. She didn't have the regular path like most. Being undocumented, she had barriers to overcome. Attending a college seemed unascertainable. Her drive pushed her to trailblaze & earn 2 scholarships w/ the support of her AVID teacher, Mrs. Komitzky & SSPF. She was able to attend ASU where she graduated in '15 w/ a degree in Business Communication & a minor in Public Relations. In '12, she applied for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA). This brought peace & opportunities to Sarahi. She was now able to work on campus. During her senior year, she became a 1st-Year Success Coach, where she mentored freshmen navigate college. She was involved in Hispanic Business Students Association & served on the e-board during her jr yr. After graduating, She began her career w/ Frito-Lay as a Sales District Leader where she led a team & managed a district across Phx. In '19 She was promoted to Key Account Manager & moved to S Cali. She serves as the Ntl Sales Lead for @Adelante, @PepsiCo’s Latino Employee Resource Group. We are so proud of Sarahi and welcome her into our hall of fame.
